Blue Flag beaches abound all along the coastline and there is entertainment waiting for you nearby. Restaurants, bars, cafes, banks and supermarkets are all readily available. Tennis courts are to be found and on La Zenia beach in the height of season you can hire pedaloes and go for a ride on the “banana” boat. Thrills and spills.

The nearby harbour town of Torrevieja, 15 minutes drive, has many shops, restaurants, bars and clubs and a huge weekly market (on Fridays) selling almost everything including fresh fruit and vegetables, shoes, handbags, clothes and linen. There is a water park and funfair, which are open during the summer, or you can book a boat trip to the island of Tabarca.
The long promenade starts at the yacht club, goes past the harbour and continues along the beach front. It is lined with craft stalls, pavement cafés and restaurants and on warm summer evenings it is bustling with people enjoying the atmosphere and the street entertainers. |
Within easy driving distance are the cities of Alicante, Murcia and Cartagena and the resort of La Manga.
The nearest airports are Murcia (20 minutes) and Alicante (40 minutes). If required we can arrange airport pick-ups. |
